I started dancing at Hurleys Danceworld  in Guildford, qualifying at the age of 21. I moved to the Diamond Dancentre in Farnborough, where I continued to train with Colin and Jacqui Donaldson, teaching there for several years before taking over as manager at Danceworld, where I stayed until the end of the lease and Anthony's retirement in 2003.

Since then, we have continued to train adults and children, both through private lessons and classes for medals, just for fun, weddings, and for professional qualifications. We organise a bi-annual show, where the children can take part in our themed presentation to parents and friends. Projects in the past have included "Dancing through time" , "Music from the Musicals" and "Dancing Around the World"

We are now a dedicated junior medallist school, taking part in the IDTA medallist system and training the next generation of teachers.

I started dancing with DanceworX and Danceworld when I was just 3 years old and have never stopped loving it. I first started assisting and teaching classes when I was 11 at the Burpham dance classes on a Friday night which I now teach on my own. I am 18 years old and I dance pretty much full-time at college and various part-time courses.

I am looking forward to pursuing a career in dance and performing arts and bringing in plenty of fresh ideas and choreography into the school. I am about to take my Dance Teaching Associate qualification with the IDTA and am looking forward to bringing more classes to the school. I do a wide variety of dance styles including Ballroom & Latin, Freestyle, Tap, Jazz and Contemporary. My specialism is Musical Theatre and I am very excited about bringing this into DanceworX in the near future.
